Theme:
The player starts at the bottom of the digital economy as a captcha worker. The player manually solves captchas to earn money. Later the player unlocks copywriting courses for $10 and progresses into better digital work.

1. Solve Simple Captcha
- Takes 4-6 seconds
- Reward: $0.05
- Low fatigue
- Low error chance
2. Solve Complex Captcha
- Takes 7-10 seconds
- Reward: $0.10
- Higher fatigue
- Higher error chance
- Should be roughly 2x money but not always strictly optimal because of time and fatigue
First unlock:
- Copywriting Course
- Cost: $10
- Target time to unlock: 8-15 minutes of active play
Early upgrades before the course:
- Better Keyboard: costs $0.50, reduces captcha time by 10%
- Focus Mode: costs $1.50, reduces error chance by 20%
- Symbol Memory: costs $3.00, increases simple captcha reward by 20%
- Pattern Recognition: costs $5.00, increases complex captcha reward by 20%
Design goals:
- First purchase should happen within 1-2 minutes
- Player should have meaningful small goals every 30-90 seconds
- Reaching $10 should not require more than 15 minutes
- Complex captcha should be tempting but not always dominant
- Fatigue should make long sessions less efficient unless the player buys upgrades
- The economy should be easy to tune with variables
