Create a ten-battle campaign model. Each battle awards 80–120 EXP. After every battle, the player divides EXP between Gold and Insight. Gold converts at a baseline rate of 1 EXP to 1 Gold. Insight converts at 3 EXP to 1 Insight. Gold purchases weapon or armor upgrades, while Insight purchases person upgrades. Weapon upgrades improve damage, armor upgrades reduce expected injuries, and person upgrades improve resilience, relationships, or access to special traits. Battle performance changes later conversion rates: efficient victories improve Gold conversion, while injuries, losses, sacred locations, and optional-objective failures improve Insight conversion. Simulate pure Gold, pure Insight, balanced, opportunistic, and several randomized strategies. Compare final combat strength, injuries, available traits, ending access, and probability of campaign completion. Identify dominant strategies, traps, positive-feedback loops, and conversion rates that keep at least three strategies viable.
