The Asteroid Mining Outpost is an automated mineral extraction and processing facility that drills raw ore from asteroid surfaces using an Excavation Rig, processes it through crushing, grinding, and flotation in the Ore Processor, then smelts the concentrate into refined metal ingots and volatile gases in the Refinery Module — all powered by a Solar Array Farm. The outpost also includes support infrastructure: a Maintenance Workshop for repairs, a Water Purification Loop that recycles process water, a Storage Depot for holding refined products and waste, a Crew Habitat Module for personnel, and a network of controllers, relays, and monitors that manage operations and track production targets. Finished metal ingots are shipped out via a Transport Vessel, while slag waste is sent to a disposal sink.
