[SYSTEM AUDIT: PLAYER EXPERIENCE & PACING]
As a Game Balance Guru, audit the following economy and mechanics for "Gatehold: Squad Defense". Your goal is not to check for crashes, but to find "Pacing Traps" and "Fun-Killers".
Parameters:
Progression: 6 slots. Slot Lv 1-10 (Gold), 11-30 (Gold+Scrap), 31-50 (Gold+Scrap+TechCore).
Gold/Scrap Walls: Gold wall hit at Day 12-14, Scrap wall hit at Day 19-21.
TechCore Entry: Starts at W1-29 (approx Day 14-15).
Legendary Crafting: Expected 1 targeted Legendary every ~30 days.
Anti-DDA: No enemy scaling. If player DPS > 1.5x target, trigger "Wave Compression" (max spawn speed).
Audit Task:
The "TechCore Shock": Does unlocking a brand new, rare currency (TechCore) at W1-29, just as the player is already struggling with the Gold/Scrap walls, create a "progression collapse" where the player feels overwhelmed? Or is it a welcome motivation boost?
The 30-Day Goal: For an F2P player, is "1 Legendary per 30 days" too slow? Does this risk a drop in retention by the 3rd week?
Wave Compression vs. Feel: Does triggering "Wave Compression" (spawn delay = 0) make the game feel like a "brutal bullet hell" that accidentally becomes too hard, or does it effectively communicate "You are powerful" to the player?
The "Gold vs. Scrap" Dilemma: Players face a double-wall in the 3rd week (Gold is hard to get, Scrap is rare). Does this encourage IAP (In-App Purchases) or just frustration?
Audit the economy pacing and tell me if we are being too greedy or perfectly balanced.
