About

Create a Machinations diagram for a racing management game economy featuring a dual-currency system: Cash and Reputation (Rep). The player manages a race team, pays for repairs, and unlocks new tracks and parts.

Please structure the model with the following nodes and connections:

1. Pools (Currencies):
- "Cash Pool": Starting value 500. Used for entry fees, hiring drivers, and repairing the vehicle.
- "Reputation Pool": Starting value 0. Used as a gate to unlock new tracks and as a currency to buy Black Market Parts.

2. Sources (Races):
- "Track 1 (Tutorial)": Costs 50 Cash to enter. Yields 150 Cash and 10 Rep upon completion.
- "Track 2 (Smuggler's Route)": Gated by a requirement of 50 Rep. Costs 100 Cash to enter. Yields 300 Cash and 30 Rep.
- "Track 3 (Syndicate Boss)": Gated by a requirement of 150 Rep and ownership of the "Syndicate Engine". Yields 1000 Cash and 100 Rep (Win State).

3. Drains (Expenses & Upgrades):
- "Vehicle Repairs": A drain connected to the Cash Pool. Triggers after every race. The cost should be randomized between 20 to 80 Cash depending on track difficulty.
- "Black Market Tires": Costs 50 Rep. Once purchased, it reduces the "Vehicle Repairs" cost on Track 2 by 50%.
- "Syndicate Engine": Costs 100 Rep and 500 Cash. This is a mandatory converter node required to unlock Track 3.
- "Hire/Fire Driver": A persistent drain of 100 Cash representing the cost of swapping out a rookie driver for a better one.

4. Logic & Flow:
- Set up a core gameplay loop where the player must farm Track 1 to build enough Rep to buy the Black Market Tires and unlock Track 2.
- Then, the player farms Track 2 to afford the Syndicate Engine, which opens the final boss track.
- Show the risk of Ruin: If the player's Cash Pool hits 0, they can no longer pay entry fees or repair the vehicle.
