This diagram uses a base-builder game to demonstrate the workflow for integrating external data sources into Machinations, including gameplay variables drawn from a Google Sheet and player behaviour data drawn from a JSON file.
The diagram is configured to toggle between different segments of player data, allowing the user to simulate different scenarios, player personas or data sources.
These integrations support the goal of the model: to measure how long it takes the player to reach each league (i.e. tier of content). This in turn would aid the game designer in predicting things such as content duration, retention, content release schedules, etc.
