Weapon Stats and Attachments (using arrays)

Catalin Ichim

About

This diagram models a complex Weapon Loadout and Stats System that uses arrays and mathematical registers to calculate final character attributes based on selected equipment. The first paragraph of the system focuses on data retrieval. It utilizes several RegisterNodes as data repositories (such as the 'Weapon loadout - Stats array') and selection interfaces. Users can manually select a weapon, scope, and durability pack through interactive registers, which then feed into secondary registers like 'Get selected weapon' to fetch specific values from the multi-dimensional arrays defined in the project's logic.

The second paragraph of the design covers the aggregation and output of these statistics. Once the attachments and base weapon are selected, the 'Final weapon stats after applying attachments' RegisterNode acts as a central processing unit, summing or multiplying the various modifiers. This central hub then distributes the calculated values to three final output registers: 'Final Durability', 'Final Accuracy', and 'Final Fire Rate'. This structured flow allows for a scalable way to balance weapon performance and attachment impacts before any real-time combat simulation occurs.
