We are looking for a Web Designer with a start-up mindset who will be responsible for designing and creating an excellent experience for the Machinations website, adhering to the top standards in the industry. Additionally, you will have to develop marketing & sales deliverables that will lead to building a powerful brand. This position is 100% remote (unless you're from Cluj Napoca, you're welcome on-premise).
Profile:
5+ years of experience in web design
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC Suite
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
A strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for design and skill in visual communication, showcasing various styles and project types, preferably for different platforms (web, mobile, etc)
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
Deep understanding of the principles and best practices of human interaction design, visual design, and typography
Ability to rapidly prototype ideas
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Good presentation, constructive (and diplomatic) criticism skills
Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest digital design trends, techniques, and technologies
Strong comfort level with ambiguity and an iterative design process
You will:
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and other stakeholders
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Produce design assets for use in social media and marketing channels
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Development, and other teams
Utilize data and analytics in making design decisions
Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs
Create and maintain a database of design assets
