IT Support Engineer

We're looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide the necessary support in planning and executing the projects as needed with a focus on security initiatives. You’ll be responsible for end-user equipment preparation/troubleshooting, as well as other IT-related tasks. Additionally, you’ll be ensuring, supporting, and assisting the use of CI/CD Applications within DevOps Toolchains.

Profile:

  • +3 years of work experience in a similar role;
  • Working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control;
  • Good understanding of computer systems, standard operating systems (Windows, Unix) networking, TCP/IP, HTTP protocols and services;
  • Basic scripting and programming experience;
  • Sharp troubleshooting and analytical abilities;
  • Familiar with DevOps practices;
  • Experience with customer systems, environment & configuration;
  • Responsible person, with good organizing skills and the ability to prioritize activities;
  • Problem-solving and detail-oriented personality;
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment;

You will:

  • Manage cybersecurity initiatives, policies, and IT-related projects;
  • Implement security recommendations, resolve health checks, apply patches;
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and provide necessary updates and enhancements for the company software and hardware;
  • Track incidents, service requests, and problems and follow up on provided solutions;
  • Manage computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions;
  • Monitor and respond quickly and efficiently to requests received from stakeholders;
  • Perform hardware and software updates in a timely manner, as needed
  • Handles the procurement, onboarding, and offboarding of employee technology;
  • Support the roll-out of the new applications;
  • Submit recommendations to improve the efficient use of the system and respond to special requests for system data;
  • Create and maintain IT documentation for internal and external use;
  • Perform various cloud platform operations;
  • Troubleshoot deployment and post-installation problems;
  • Perform build, deploy and support tasks;
  • Ensure systems availability, performance, and first & second levels of support;
  • Troubleshoot and analysis to find the root cause of issues;
  • Scripting and coding;
  • Infrastructure management;

Bonus points:

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Experience with ISO27001 standards and procedures
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure
